How does it work?

When a water-based liquid makes contact with the metal core, a controlled oxidation process begins. Inside the core, an integrated sponge absorbs the liquid and, once enough cells are activated, energy is generated almost immediately.

The LED stays lit as long as the internal cells remain moist. Factors like ambient temperature and humidity can influence the duration. As the sponge gradually dries out, the light dims and eventually fades.

To reactivate it, simply add liquid to the handle or briefly submerge it— and the reaction starts again.

How do you use it?

Pour at least 30 ml of any water-based-liquid slowly onto the handle, or dip it briefly in it. - Wait a moment, and watch it glow!

Which liquids can power your flashlight?

The flashlight operates with any water-based liquid — no exceptions — as long as oxygen is present. You can power it using water, coffee, soda, beer, or even urine in emergencies. However, it will not function with oils or any non-water-based liquids.


The technology is based on an electrolysis-like reaction that generates energy through oxidation. An integrated sponge absorbs the liquid, ensuring the light stays on.

Please note: The Lens is not waterproof. You only need to get the handle wet in order to activate it.
